What I know
I am country, deep down into my bones.
I married the man who swore back in high school that we would.
I thought being a school teacher would prepare me for the day I would have children. I was wrong.
I love to dress up when the occasion calls for it, but I live in athleisure (Nike to be precise)
I was a pageant girl. Now I am an athlete. I like to compete!
I have a slight addiction to shoes and most cooking networks.
I love to cook for my family & friends. My kitchen is the heart of my home.
I’m not fancy. But I do like pretty things in my home.
My friends seem to like me.
My children are my life.
My husband is my life.
My family is my life.
My faith is my my life.
My knees keep me humble and grateful for the life I have been given.
you may not know
I loved being an educator. I miss the classroom, the students and the teaching profession as a whole. Having my own children, I understand the responsibility that teachers have in a much different way. Being on the other side of the parent-teacher relationship I can fully appreciate what a truly amazing profession it is. I am proud to hold a B.S. Of Middle Grade Education from UGA, as well as a Masters Degree in Family Counseling, Liberty University. I may have to go back and take a refresher for the Common Core Math when my little ones begin school. What? LOL!
